This combination treatment is also known as collagen induction therapy (CIT). The ultimate goal is to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin (components of the skin, which give it vitality and luminosity). This treatment helps improve scars, blemishes, fine lines and enlarged facial pores.
How many sessions are needed?
To obtain the maximum effect, it is recommended to do 4 – 6 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart.This procedure goes through 3 phases:
- Radiofrequency (20 – 30 minutes), the energy produced increases the temperature of the skin layers, stimulating collagen production.
- Microneedling with PRP (20 – 30 minutes), through the perforation of micro-needles and the simultaneous application of PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) on the skin, creates micro-damage to the skin, promoting the regeneration process.
- Application of regenerating cream, containing hyaluronic acid.
Objective: improve marks, spots, fine lines and enlarged pores on the face.
Duration of procedure: 40 – 60 minutes.
Anesthesia: no (the client feels a pleasant warmth and small, easily tolerable stings).
Effect: becomes visible a few days after the first session and gradually improves after each subsequent session.
Duration of the result: 8 – 12 months, depending on individual characteristics.
Side effects: You may experience slight redness on your face, which disappears after a few hours.
Post-procedure tips:
- Keep your face hydrated with a moisturizer.
- Use sunscreen whenever you are exposed to the sun.
