Our orthopedic physicians are specialized in injuries of the musculoskeletal system which includes bones, joints, ligaments, nerves, and tendons. Almost everyone experiences joint pain at some point in their life, and many people have musculoskeletal injuries that require medical attention. Even if you aren’t a physically active person, you can damage your muscle tissue simply through the wear and tear of daily activities. Our orthopedic doctors will help you manage the pain, improve range of motion, treat and prevent injuries, as well as give you the appropriate medical treatment in cases such as:

Our specialist will ask questions about the location, severity, and onset of your pain. They will likely also ask about your medical history and physical activity level — all to understand how your pain affects your day-to-day activities. Depending on your unique situation, your orthopedic doctor may also have you perform physical tests to assess your range of motion or degree of injury. They may also order additional testing, such as an X-ray, CT scan (also called a CAT scan), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), an ultrasound, or an electromyography (EMG).
